Our Story
Drift Wellness began with a desire to bring restorative wellness experiences to the East End.
Drift Wellness was founded by Brady Yusko and Francesca Johnson, bringing together a shared passion for wellness, recovery, and the Hamptons community.
Brady is a born-and-raised Hamptons local whose mother is a teacher and father grew up in Montauk. A three-varsity athlete at East Hampton High School, health and wellness have always been central to his lifestyle. After spending several years working in advertising in New York City, Brady always dreamed of returning home to the Hamptons full-time.
In recent years, Brady and Francesca discovered the benefits of sauna and cold plunge therapy and quickly made heat and cold exposure a staple of their daily routine. Experiencing firsthand the recovery, mental clarity, and wellness benefits of contrast therapy inspired the creation of Drift Wellness.
Today, they live in the Hamptons with their lab mix, Acadia—named after Acadia National Park in Maine, the destination of their first trip together.
Drift Wellness was created with a simple goal: to bring restorative wellness experiences directly to the Hamptons community they are proud to call home.
Our Commitment to Quality
At Drift Wellness, we believe the experience is only as good as the equipment behind it. That’s why our sauna is built using premium thermally modified Thermowood, a Scandinavian softwood that has been heat-treated at high temperatures to improve durability and stability.
This process strengthens the wood and helps it resist moisture, warping, rot, and insects—making it ideal for outdoor saunas designed to withstand the elements while maintaining consistent heat and performance.
The wood used in our sauna is also FSC-certified, meaning it comes from responsibly managed forests that prioritize environmental sustainability and long-term forest health.
The result is a sauna that is not only beautiful and comfortable, but built for durability, performance, and an authentic sauna experience — allowing guests to enjoy the same restorative heat therapy found in the world’s leading wellness retreats.
